Read about Kemotion’s Web Design for Travel Advisors transformation.
When Elizabeth from Rosewater Travel first reached out, she was looking for a website refresh.
Her original website was just one page with a simple bio, a few service descriptions, and a contact form. While it shared a little about who she was, it didn’t do much to showcase what made her travel planning so unique.
Table of Contents
Elizabeth creates luxury travel experiences for couples, families, and golf enthusiasts, but her site wasn’t giving that high-end, tailored feel. So after our first call, it was clear: we weren’t just refreshing her website—we were creating an entirely new digital home for her brand.
The Problem: Her Website Didn’t Reflect Her Business
Elizabeth’s business is personalized, curated, and high-touch. She takes the stress out of trip planning for busy professionals, families, and couples who want unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime vacations. But her website?
It wasn’t doing that story justice.
She needed a Web Design for Travel Advisors that:
✔️ Clearly defined her services (so potential clients would immediately see how she could help)
✔️ Felt luxurious and polished (without being overly feminine—since many of her clients are men booking for their families or spouses)
✔️ Made it easy to book with her (because busy executives and families don’t have time to dig through a website to find out how to get started)
After that first conversation, we mapped out a plan: a full brand and website transformation that would give her the elevated, high-end online presence her business deserved.
The Process: Crafting a Website That Feels Like an Experience
Step 1: Finding the Right Website Platform
One of the first things we tackled was her website host. Elizabeth was ready to move away from her old platform, and we knew Showit would give her the creative freedom she needed.
With Showit, we were able to:
✅ Customize every detail—no limitations, no rigid templates.
✅ Embed her travel inquiry form & Calendly so clients could easily book consultations.
✅ Create a Web Design for Travel Advisors site that can grow with her business (no more outgrowing her website in a year).
She trusted us to handle the transition, and that gave us the flexibility to bring her vision to life without restrictions.
Step 2: Refining Her Branding & Color Palette
Elizabeth loves the rich jewel tones of Morocco and India, but her original site leaned a little too feminine. Since many of her clients are men booking romantic getaways or golf trips, we needed to find a way to balance elegance and inclusivity.
We chose:
Deep Burgundy Wine – Romantic, rich, and sophisticated.
Jewel-Toned Blue-Green – A nod to adventure and exclusivity.
Soft Neutrals – To balance the richness and keep it timeless.
This palette made her site feel luxurious but approachable—elevated without being intimidating.
Step 3: Updating Her Logo & Brand Identity
Her original logo had a rose, which made sense for her brand name, but it felt a little outdated. We wanted to keep that romantic, elegant symbol but refine it into something more timeless and high-end.
🔹 We modernized the rose emblem to make it feel more polished.
🔹 We drew inspiration from golf course crests and luxury travel logos to create a monogram-style emblem.
🔹 The final result subtly resembles a Moroccan window, reinforcing the idea of travel, culture, and exploration.
This updated identity feels like HER—it’s elegant, thoughtful, and represents the experiences she curates.
Step 4: Structuring the Website for Simplicity & Ease
At Kemotion, we always design websites with the user journey in mind. If someone lands on your site and has to guess what to do next, you’ll lose them. For Web Design for Travel Advisors, we need to be intentional and inspirational.
For Elizabeth, we:
✔️ Simplified the navigation—short, clear menu labels (no “About Elizabeth,” just “About”)
✔️ Added an immersive video at the top—so visitors immediately feel the magic of travel
✔️ Embedded her Calendly & travel form—so booking a consultation is seamless and friction-free
Every detail was designed to make sure her website feels as effortless as the travel experiences she creates.
The Secret to a Successful Website? Collaboration.
One thing I LOVED about this project was how involved Elizabeth was. She did all of her client homework (which made refining her copy so much easier), and we used Markup IO to get real-time feedback from her.
📝 Write her thoughts & edits directly on the website preview.
📝 Make sure everything felt right before launch.
📝 Give us clear direction while trusting our expertise.
Because of that collaboration, the final site feels like a true reflection of her brand.
The Final Result: A Website as Thoughtful as Her Travel Services
Elizabeth’s new website feels refined, immersive, and high-end, effortlessly attracting her dream clients while making the booking process seamless. Most importantly, it authentically reflects her personality, passion, and expertise. And honestly? I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
